How will my unit arrive and be sited?

Accepted Answer

Your cabin will generally arrive on either our custom built transporter truck or transporter trailer. A standard delivery will then see us unload your unit - often on the street if traffic allows (saving your lawn) - and then drive your unit into position with our customised forklift. How much space do I need for delivery?

Ideally we would have access route 3 metres wide and then a clear level route to the point at which you want your cabin sited on your property. A good rule of thumb is if you are able to drive a large car / ute to the point you want your cabin located, then we should be all good.

Question 3

How do I get power to my cabin?

Accepted Answer

Your cabin comes with a RCD protected caravan style power connection with a standard 15 metre cable to connect to your home. Just plug it in and you're done. Simple. 
 
Where required we will organise a different length cable to best suit your needs and to ensure that the cabling is nice and discreet.

Is there a minimum rental period?

We have a range of pricing options, some of which include a minimum rental period as well a flexi option with no minimum rental period. See our pricing page for more details.

Question 5

Do I need to pay a bond?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our Pods carry a $250 bond.

Question 6

Do I need council consent to have a cabin?

Accepted Answer

Our cabins are less than 10sqm and, when sited correctly, do not generally require consent.

Where do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

We service the Waikato, King Country, Bay of Plenty and South Auckland. However, if you require a Pod outside of these areas get in touch and we will try and sort something out for you.
